Josie Rybczyk received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2023.

She is from East Granby, CT, and frequently returns home to continue photographing her family. In her work, Rybczyk addresses mental health issues that often go undiscussed, primarily trauma and our relationship with the body. Her most recent project centers around her youngest brother, and examines the premise of fleeting youth while addressing family dynamic.

She divides her time between assisting Rania Matar in her Brookline studio, and managing social media marketing for Digital Silver Imaging as well as The Harold Feinstein Photography Archive.
